Woman, man arrested under Hartselle bridge

A man and woman were arrested in Hartselle Mon., May 18, on drug charges.

Jessica Nicole Kashuba, 29, and Adam Seth Armstrong, 34, were reported to the Morgan County Sherrif’s Department after they were seen under a bridge on Highway 31 South near Crescent Drive. After responding to the call, the officers found marijuana on Kashuba and heroin on Armstrong. The Morgan County Drug Task Force obtained a search warrant and discovered marijuana, a handgun and drug paraphernalia in Armstrong’s vehicle.

Kashuba was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana second degree and was taken to the Morgan County Jail on a $1,000 bond. Armstrong was taken to the Morgan County Jail with $2,800 bond on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substances (heroin) and unlawful possession of marijuana second degree.
