Luke Asherbranner celebrated second birthday on May 10

Falkville, located at 305 Main Street, holds the following services each week: Sunday school at 9:15 a.m., morning worship at 10:30 a.m., AWANA at 5 p.m. small groups and youth class. Greg Burcham, pastor, minister of music, Ken Hames; youth minister, Patrick Smith; key board, Pam Blevins; organ, Sylvia Halbrooks; and piano, Patricia Ramey.

May birthdays at First Baptist Church Falkville are Sarah Ayre and Vernon Ayre, both on May 15, Case Dodd on May 17. Lydia Williams on May 18, Gunter Halbrooks on May 23, Mikayla James on May 27 and Amber Kugler on May 29.

Visiting with Don and LuRue Jones have been Ken and Linda Linderman of Arizona.

Falkville Public Library held their annual open house May 5 from 3 to 6 p.m. Board members Tina Rogers, Jane Hill, Pamela McDonald, Kay Farrer and Rhona Summerford served refreshments to 50 who attended the event.

Howard and Helen Gibson, Ray and Betty Sanders, Barry and Diane Bryan, Wilma Depreast and Eva Stinson met at Libby’s Restaurant in Priceville for lunch Tues, May 5.
