Earl Edward Combs

Mr. Combs, 78, of Somerville died at his residence Thur., April 30, 2015. He was born June 8, 1936, in Franklin County to the late Herman Leroy Combs and Helen Josephine Inglesol Combs. He was an avid gun collector and a member of the NRA. He was a wonderful father and grandfather and was everyone’s rock. He was employed by Gillette Chemical Company, as a Chemical Engineer before his retirement. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Combs. No services are scheduled at this time.

He is survived by three daughters, Pamela Chasse and Donna Stewart (Billy), both of Somerville and Connie Muncy of Lyles, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, Krissy Dempsey Benefield, Billy Dempsey, Jr., C.J. Muncy, Sonya Chasse, Elizabeth Muncy, Dylan Stewart and Todd Chasse; and two great-grandchildren, Kinzie Benefield and Rylee Benefield.
