Mr. and Mrs. Mike Reeves of Hartselle are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Virginia, to William Anthony Halbrooks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Halbrooks of Hartselle.

Miss Reeves is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Howell and Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Reeves, all of Hartselle.

She is a 2007 graduate of Hartselle High School and received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She is employed at Huntsville Hospital as a pediatric nurse.

Mr. Halbrooks is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Plemons of Hartselle and the late William Darris Halbrooks and the late Mr. and Mrs. Winford Ray Logan of Moulton.

He is a 2008 graduate of Priceville High School and a graduate of the Alabama Corrections Academy. He is employed at Limestone Correctional facility as a correction officer.

The wedding will be May 30, 2015, at 6 p.m. at the bride’s home.
