University of Montevallo sophomore Arin Eddy won the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational on Tues., March 3.

The Hartselle native finished with one-over par 217. She carded rounds of 73, 75 and a three-under par 69 to close out play. Her closing round was the second best round of the tournament.

Eddy’s 69 was also tied for the second lowest round of the year for a Montevallo golfer, tying Emily Romkey’s 69 at the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate back in February.

It is only the third tournament Eddy has played with Montevallo. She has finished in the top 10 in all tournaments.

As a team, the Falcons finished seventh, competing in a stacked field that featured nine teams that were ranked in the most recent Golfstat poll.
