Brenda Marie Burress

A memorial service for Brenda Marie Burress, 55, of Somerville will be Fri., Jan. 30, at 5 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Burress died Mon., Jan. 26, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born Dec. 24, 1959, in Virginia to James Adams and Francis Mitchell Adams. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde “Larry” Burress of Somerville; three sons, Clyde Larry Burress II (Katheline) of Priceville, Christopher Scott Burress (Miranda) of Somerville and William Huron Burress of Robertsdale; three daughters, Heather Burress Chalfant (Chris) of Hartselle, Tammy Marie Lewis (Scooter) of Mobile and Patricia Michelle Gremillion (Brian) of Louisiana; her mother, Francis Mitchell Adams of Somerville; three brothers, Jerry Adams and Tommy Adams, both of Somerville and David Adams of Double Springs; two sisters, Ann Whitt of Tennessee and Kathy Mitchell of South Carolina; and 13 grandchildren.
