Cullman turned a three-point lead over Hartselle at the end of the first quarter into a 37-point rout over the final three quarters.

The Tigers (11-11, 1-5) kept pace in the early going thanks to a trio of 3-pointers from Isaac Taylor, but the Tigers couldn’t keep pace with Cullman. The Bearcats closed the first half on an 11-2 run to take a 42-27 halftime lead.

The Bearcats pulled away in the second half outscoring Hartselle 15-9 and 20-4 in the final two stanzas.

Brontae Harris led Cullman with 21 including five 3-pointers. Seth Swalve added 17 points and broke 1,000 career points. Lawson Schaffer finished with 15 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds. Elijah Price added 10 points.

Taylor led Hartselle with 13 points and 3 steals, followed by Dolan Golden with 8 points, Jaylan Jackson, Tobias Mitchell and Seth Garner with 4 points each, Josiah Lanier and Jaxon Peebles with 3 points each and Kylar Topps with 1.

The Tigers will host Florence tomorrow.
