Jalen Rashard Chatman, 20, of 64 Bowers Road in Vahermoso Springs and Tyler Desean Griffin, 18, of 182 Tapscott Road in Hartselle were both arrested and charged with robbery in the first degree.

They are currently in custody at the Morgan County Jail, and their bond has not yet been set.

Just before midnight on Saturday, dispatch received a call from a residence in the 200 block of Tapscott Road off Alabama 36 East. The caller reported that a lone masked male had entered her home, pointed a handgun at her and took her prescription medication.

Investigators obtained enough evidence from the caller to identify and arrest two suspects that night.
