Focus your energy on others’ needs

How many things in life do we need to realize that life is not all about what we want and us? In John’s gospel, we find where we are to love one another. In doing this, we find where the needs of others matter first. When we help others, when it’s not convenient for us or by focusing our energy on others’ needs before our own. If God so loved us, we also need to love one another (I John 4:11).

Special happy birthday wishes go out this week to Nathan Hensley who celebrated his eighth birthday on Thursday, Nov. 27, from Momma, Meme and Jeremy. We love you so much and hope you enjoy your special day!

Christian love and sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Robert Earl McCain.

Happy birthday wishes this week to Mya Robinson Dec. 1, Sandra Boyd, Dylant Bryant and Nancy Cherubine, all on Dec. 3.
