DHS Thanksgiving Classic begins Wednesday

The seventh annual Danville Lady Hawks Thanksgiving Classic will be Wednesday and Friday at the DHS gymnasium and the Tom Drake Gym at Falkville.

Games will tip off toady at 10 a.m. featuring Hartselle vs. Cold Springs at Danville and Brewer vs. Fairview at Falkville.

Falkville will take on Brindlee Mountain at 11:20 a.m. at Falkville. Danville will play Sardis at 12:40 p.m. on the Lady Hawks’ home floor.

Other opening round games at Danville are as follows: Oneonta vs. Lawrence County at 11:20 a.m. and West Point vs. Decatur at 2 p.m.

The other two opening round games at Falkville are Rogers vs. Athens at 12:40 p.m. and Holly Pond vs. Walker at 2 p.m.

Second round games and consolation bracket games will begin Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.

Consolation games at both sites begin Friday at 10 a.m. Friday followed by the championship semifinals at DHS Friday beginning at 12:40 p.m. The finals in each of the brackets begin Friday at 3:30 p.m. with the championship round to be played Friday at 7 p.m. at Danville.
