FBC Young at Heart enjoys first outing

The Young at Heart of First Baptist Falkville recently enjoyed their first outing of the year, which consisted of a late lunch at Cracker Barrel in Hartselle and then to see the movie “Left Behind” in Cullman. Those enjoying the outing were Joe and Fran Edmondson, John and Martha Nelson, Bruce and Georgia Treece, Dwight and Linda Alldredge, Alfred and Linda Ryan, John Moore, Pat Ramey and June Walling.

Mrs. Wilma Depreast has been named LPN Nurse of Alabama for the year 2014 and all her friends and family congratulate her on this great honor.

First Baptist Church Falkville Children’s Ministry held Pastor Appreciation Breakfast Oct. 12 to honor their ministers and their wives, Pastor Greg Buncham and wife Karla, music minister Ken James and wife Julia and Patricia Smith, student minister and wife Jillian.

Food hint: Jello Pudding made its debut in 1932 and the first flavor was chocolate.

Libby’s Restaurant in Priceville was the setting for the Class of 1952 at Falkville High School breakfast. Among those enjoying the good food and fellowship were Bob and Charlotte Wise, Sarah Gaines, Shirley Cooper, Howard and Itelen Gibson, Franklin and Sue Harrison, Pete Lee and Ray and Betty Sanders.
