Boyers celebrate golden anniversary

Jimmy R. Boyer and Shirley Maze Boyer of Hartselle celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 10, 2014.
The couple was married Aug. 8, 1964. A reception was held in their honor Aug. 10 at East Highland Baptist Church, hosted by their children and grandchildren.
The couple has three children, Kenneth, Kendra and Kristie Durand, all of Hartselle; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Boyer are retired, and they are members of East Highland Baptist Church.
