Ronnie McAbee

Funeral for Ronnie McAbee, 63, of Hartselle was Wed., Aug. 6, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tom Campbell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Center Cemetery.

Mr. McAbee died Mon., Aug. 4, 2014, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Aug. 10, 1950, in Morgan County to William Ralph McAbee and Ora B. Hill McAbee. He was formerly employed at Defco as the machine shop supervisor and retired after 35 years of service. He loved his family dearly and loved deer hunting and his dogs, Special and Smokey. He was a loving father who will be missed very much.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Nancy McAbee; three sons, Dale McAbee (Hope), Jackie McAbee and Brandon McAbee; a daughter, Becky Peck (Bubby); his mother, Ora B. Hill McAbee; four brothers, Thomas McAbee (Linda), Dennie McAbee, Rickey McAbee (Brenda) and Timmy McAbee (Marie); and two grandchildren, Tyler McAbee and Samni Weston

Pallbearers were Daniel Brown, Waylon Turrentine, Earl Vest, Thomas McAbee, Timmy McAbee and Keith McAbee
