Joseph Dorman Lee

Funeral for Joseph Dorman Lee, 81, of Huntsville will be Tues., July 29, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. A. Ray Lee and Chaplain Rob Peavy officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Mon., July 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Lee died Sat., July 26, 2014 at “Tut” Fann State Veterans Home. He was born Sept. 9, 1932, in Morgan County to Joseph Johnson Lee and Lorena Quattlebaum Lee. Mr. Lee was retired from the United States Air Force and was an Electronic’s Instructor for Rhett’s (Virginia College). He was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife, Cindy Lee.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Lee of Huntsville; a son, Phillip Timothy Lee of Harvest; two daughters, Christy Ann Whitaker and Carla Jo Lee, both of Madison; three brothers, A. Ray Lee of Falkville, Harold Glen ‘Pete’ Lee, of Hartselle and Paul David ‘Spud’ Lee of Hartselle; three step-grandchildren, Beth Jackson of Hartselle, Paul Giers of Florida and Jimmy Giers of Valhermoso Springs; and 16 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
