A driver and two passengers suffered injuries in a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Main Street West and Puckett Road in Hartselle earlier today.

The accident occurred Thursday at 11:49 a.m. and involved a Ford Expedition and an Oldsmobile Alero.

Hartselle firefighters removed the top of the Alero using extrication tools to free two women who were trapped in the front seat. Another occupant, a male, was also injured but was able to free himself from the wreckage without assistance.

All three were transported to Decatur Morgan Hospital by Samaritan EMS ambulances.

The female driver of the Expedition and her young child escaped without injury.

Hartselle Police are investigating the crash.
