Funeral for Colleen V. Reeves, 88, of Hartselle will be Wed. (today), June 25, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Reeves officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in New Center Cemetery.

Mrs. Reeves died Sun., June 22, 2014, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born May 3, 1926, in Madison County to John L. Vines and Lena Leota Thompson Henry Vines. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy B Reeves, Mint James and Johnny Nelson; three daughters, Joyce Barber, Loyce Barber and Debra Reeves, three brothers, Jessie and Leroy Vines and Leo Henry; three sisters, Ruth Chaney, Martha McCollum and Loyce Bolman; a grandson, Chuck Garrison; and her parents.

She is survived by five sons, David Nelson, Johnny W. Nelson, Bill James, James Reeves and Jerry Reeves; four daughters, Laverne Garrison, Gail Mason, Ann Shadden and Sandra Barnett; 18 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Nelson, Steve Nelson, Ricky Barber, James Barber, Nick Cordar and Greg Barber.
