Leroy David Fagan

Funeral service for Leroy David Fagan, 90, of Hartselle will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday June 21, 2014 at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Carson Fagan officiating.

Burial will be at Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday June 21, 2014 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Fagan was born March 08, 1924 in Limestone County to Andrew David Fagan and Sadie Garner Fagan. He passed away June 18, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Fagan grew up farming before serving his country in Europe during WWII. After the war he returned home, married Willie Mae Duke and had four children. He worked for GM in Michigan for several years before returning to Alabama where he worked as a diesel mechanic until he retired.

Mr. Fagan was preceded in death by his wife; Willie Mae Duke Fagan, one brother Jasper “Bud” Fagan, one sister; Elaine Fagan Terry.

He is survived by two sons; Carson (Brenda) Fagan of Hoover, and Dalton Fagan of Hartselle, two daughters; Debbie McBrayer of Melbourne, FL, and Tracie Fagan of Madison, two brothers; Joe (Jessy) Fagan of Decatur, and Gary (Liz) Fagan of Dade City, FL, one sister; Dorothy Fagan ( J.W.) Terry of Weirsdale, FL, ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bo Speer, Scott Speer, Nick Fagan, Andy Miller, Morgan Storrs, Matt Fagan, Rocky Fagan, and Zachary Fagan.
