Clean and Learn Day planned on Flint Creek

The Wheeler Wildlife Refuge Association will host a Clean and Learn Day on Flint Creek Sat., June 7, beginning at 7 a.m. at the Hickory Hills Boat Ramp.
Refuge Ranger Kevin Hamrick will lead a 90-minute trip along lower Flint Creek, followed by a cleanup around the landing.
Trash bags and disposable gloves will be provided, but participants should bring their own canoe or kayak as well as drinking water, snacks, sunscreen and bug spray.
Life jackets will be required for anyone going on the water.
