Paul Waddell

Funeral for Paul Waddell, 67, of Danville will be Sat., May 17, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Shane Brent, Bro. Walter Blackman and Bro. Ed King officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery (South of Danville). Visitation will be Sat., May 17, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Waddell died Thur., May 15, 2014, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Dec. 17, 1946, in Morgan County to Oscar Waddell and Maybel Prince Waddell. Mr. Waddell was formerly employed by, and retired from, Monsanto after 37 years of service as an Engineering Executive. He was the owner of Waddell’s Seafood in Hartselle. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His children stated, “Dad will not only be remembered for his tremendous love for his family, but also for the surrounding communities.”

He is survived by his wife, Jan Waddell of Danville; a son, Max Waddell (Jennifer) of Hartselle; two daughters, Rev. Beth Caulfield (Dr. Tom Caulfield) of New Jersery and Jill Wilkinson (Douglas) of St Louis, Mo; a sister, Dorothy Brinkley of Priceville; and nine grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
