The Hartselle Board of Education accepted the resignation of Hartselle Intermediate School Principal Terry Graff during a special called meeting Tuesday afternoon.

Hartselle School Superintendent Dr. Vic Wilson said Graff will finish the remainder of his one-year contract, which ends June 30.

“We wish him the best in the future,” Wilson said.

Graff retired as an alternative high school principal for the Glynn County School System in Brunswick, Ga., when he accepted the position at Hartselle Intermediate School.

Wilson said they will be posting the opening Wednesday.

The board also accepted the retirements of child nutrition worker Susan Tucker and bus driver Marlon Tapscott.
