Lady Bulldogs fall in area games

Brooks 15, Priceville 0

Priceville had no hits and only three base runners, each of whom reached first base on a walk. Brooks logged 16 base runners in the three-inning game. All but one scored.

Madison Beddingfield allowed four runs on no hits while walking one batter. Kylie Miller allowed 11 runs on four hits while walking five batters.

East Lawrence 10, Priceville 9

Priceville‘s Lady Bulldogs collected eight hits in a 10-9 road loss to East Lawrence on March 18.

McKenzie Parker led Priceville in hitting with a home run, a double and four RBIs. She also scored four runs and had a stolen base. Heather Owens had a pair of singles and scored a run, Jenna Blankenship had double, Alison Varner singled in a run and scored twice and Sara Beth Wilson had a two-RBI single.

Madison Beddingfield was the losing pitcher. She allowed nine runs on five hits while striking out two batters and walking five in six innings.
