BASEBALL: FHS 7, Clements 3

Alston Howard, Taylor Steele and Colin Eason had two hits to lead Falkville at Clements Monday. Howard finished with three RBIs.

Adam Keenum also had a hit and an RBI while Hunter Woodall had three runs scored and four stolen bases. Tyler Woodall had two runs scored.

Tanner Evans pitched five shutout innings to earn the win. He had three strikeouts and allowed just one hit. Steele earned the save with three strikeouts. He allowed three runs on five hits.

FHS 14, Elkmont 10

Ryan Bradford, Tanner Evans and Taylor Steele had two hits each to lift Falkville over Elkmont Feb. 22. Steele also had a home run.

Hunter Woodall, Alston Howard and Colin Eason also added hits.

Dallas Mayer earned the win with two and one-third scoreless innings with two striekouts. Howard had five strikeouts  and Evans had two strikeouts to earn the save.
