Brewer knocks off top-ranked team

All 10 Brewer players scored to help the Class 5A No. 2 Lady Patriots defeat Class 4A No. 1 Oneonta 66-42 win Saturday at home.

Riley Northway led the way with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Malerie Drinkard also finished in double figures with 12 points, four rebounds and four steals.

Savana Flack added nine points, five rebound and five assists followed by Emily Oden with seven points, Brooke Childers with six points, Cheyenne McLemore with five points and four steals and Shelbi Bowen, Tamera Chatman, Presley Craft and Bre Flack with two each.

Brewer 60, Decatur 34

Oden led the way with 17 points while Savana Flack and Northway scored nine points each. Northway had six rebounds while Savana Flack added five rebounds.

McLemore added seven points and seven rebounds followed by Bre Flack with six points, Drinkard with four, Chatman with three, Craft and Bowen each with two and Childers with one.
