Priceville 65, Hartselle 53

Priceville held off a ferocious comeback by Hartselle to earn a tough win at home.

The Lady Bulldogs jumped out to a 10-4 lead at the end of the first quarter and extended the lead to 26-16 at halftime.

Hartselle exploded for 22 points to cut Priceville’s advantage to 39-38 at end of the third quarter.

Priceville answered by scoring 26 points in the fourth quarter to seal the 12-point win.

Emilee Cunningham led the way with 23 points and five rebounds, making nine of 12 shots for the game. Alex Moore added 16 points and 11 rebounds while McKenzie parker had nine points, seven rebounds and six assists.

Jada Beverly finished with eight points and five assists followed by Peyton Parker with nine points, eight assists and five rebounds and Brianna Gwin with two points.

Riley Terry tied the game-high with 23 points followed by Allie Roden with 11, Sarah Ellen Battles with six, Shaneal Johnson and Madison Williams with five each and Shelby Harris with two.
