FLORETTE – No. 1 Brewer suffered its third defeat of the season Tuesday night at the hands of 6A No. 4 Shades Valley 60-45.

Riley Northway still finished with a double-double, 16 points and 10 rebounds. Savana Flack also had 13 points, seven rebounds and three assists.

Malerie Drinkard added six points and seven rebounds followed by Emily Oden with five, Cheyenne McLemore with three and Tamena Chatman with two.

Brewer committed 21 turnovers in the loss.

Shades Valley was led by Morgan William with a game-high 23 points and seven steals.
