Willingham Family Reunion held Nov. 29

Brian and Amanda Willingham and son A.J. of Danville attended their family reunion luncheon at the home of their aunt, Paulette Wilhite, in the Corinth community Fri., Nov. 29. Others attending were Jeff, Diane and Jessie Willingham of Cullman, Jason and Jamie Willingham, Bruce Willingham of Corinth and sons, Jace and Brady, Tammy, Dale and Luke Hendrix of Double Springs, Eric Lott of Birmingham and Barry, Dana, Taylor and Garrett Willingham of West Point.

The Willinghams traditionally celebrates holidays at Paulette’s. They are descendants of Cornice and Mildred Whaley Willingham of the Mt. Vernon community.

McKendree United Methodist Church had the “Hanging of the Greens” and decorated their Chrismon Tree on Sun., Nov. 24, at 3 p.m. Everyone enjoyed re-freshments in the fellowship hall afterwards. McKendree members are doing a Christmas card exchange project. Boxes for each family are placed on the table and the cards are given without mailing. Money saved on stamps is then donated to the Mission Fund.

Joyce O’Neil and Carolyn Besnyl of Massey visited with Jerry and Terry Boyd on Thanks-giving Day and enjoyed dinner with them,. Those attending were Matt Roper, De-Wayne and Mandy Roper, Noah and Lauren Boyd, Jamie and Mark Howard, Cody and Wyatt, Danny Caddell, Billy and Donna Posey of Decatur and Rebecca, Robert and Daniel Mobley of Huntsville.

Get well wishes go out to James Stephens of Neel. He has three more chemotherapy treatments in Birmingham. Our prayers are with him.

Belated happy birthday wishes to his wife, Jan Stephens, who celebrated her big day on Thur., Nov. 28, at Top of the Town restaurant in Cullman. Chris Warnick, Alicia Warnick, Austin Warnick, Jolene Barnett, Nick Flannagan and Tyler Abbott enjoyed the meal with Jan and Tyler Abbott.

Pick, Mandy and Mae Leigh Rowe, Paul and Frances Rowe of Massey were guests at Sallye and Mike Swafford’s Thanksgiving dinner in Hartselle.

Along with the guests were the Swafford children, Brennan and Coppens, Jasmine and Journey of Owens Cross Roads, Lucy Slater of Arab, Zack and Christy Poindexter, Trevor and Trent of El Dorado, Ark., Suzanne Horn of Camden Ark., Vicki Clark, Evan and Laney of Hot Springs, Ark.

All enjoyed the good food and fellowship.
