Bethel boys improve to 7-1

Bethel’s varsity boys basketball team (7-1) defeated Covenant Christian 69-62 Thursday, extending their winning streak to six games.

Bethel was down by 16 at one point in the third quarter but outscored Covenant 28-10 in the fourth quarter to take the lead for good.

The Bobcats were led in scoring by their outstanding Senior Clint Chisgar, who scored a career-high 37 points. Isaac Bunner added 17. Covenant was led in scoring by Alan Villanueva with 19.

Bethel boys 53, Lindsey Lane 45

Bethel’s varsity won the game despite being outscored in the second half.

Bethel was led in scoring by Andrew Dodd with 19 and Isaac Bunner with 17. Lindsey Lane was led in scoring by Connor Brown with 16.

Bethel JV 37, Covenant Christian 27

Bethel’s JV (6-3) was led in scoring by Sam Murphy with 16 and Trentin Dupper with 15. Covenant was led in scoring by Jonathan Sillvany with 20.

Lindsey Lane 51, Bethel JV 33

Bethel’s JV suffered another loss to the hands of the undefeated Lindsey Lane Christian.

Bethel was led in scoring by Sam Murphy with 18. Lindsey Lane was led in scoring by Logan Doughty with 21.

Covenant Chrisitian 38, Bethel girls 23

Bethel’s Girls (1-6) loses another one to Covenant Christian 38-23. Bethel was led in scoring by Savannah Markham with nine. Covenant was led in scoring by Kassidy Taylor with 10.

Lindsey Lane 32, Bethel girls 27

Bethel’s Girls (1-5) loses a close one Tuesday night to Lindsey Lane Christian. Bethel was led in scoring by Lauren McKee with 12. Lindsey Lane was led in scoring by Tori Taylor with 12.
