Joyce Annie Moran

Funeral for Joyce Annie Moran, 47, of Falkville was Wed., Dec. 4, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Timothy Hardin and Martha Hardin officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Flat Creek Cemetery.

Miss Moran died Sun., Dec. 1, 2013, at Falkville Health Care Center. She was born Dec. 13, 1965, in Lawrence County to Wendell Emmit Moran and Addie Tucker Moran. She was Pentecostal in faith and attended church at Soldiers of the Cross Church in the Priceville. She lived life to bring joy to others. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by two brothers, Robert Moran of Falkville and Jerry Wayne Moran of Milton, Fla.; five sisters, Ann Holmes of Lawrence County, Shirley Hurley of Decatur, Diane Shipp of Cullman County, Mildred Smith of Lexington, Ky. and Barbara Holmes of Morgan County.

Pallbearers were Emmitt Moran, Andrew Moran, Donnie Hitt, Jake Purgeon, Dennis Shipp and Jim Ball.

The family thanks Falkville Health Care and Rehab Center for their support and kindness, and all the Hospice nurses.
