Virginia Dunaway

Funeral for Virginia Dunaway, 73, of Decatur will be Wed.,  Nov. 20, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Green officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Dunaway died Sun., Nov. 17, 2013, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born June 13, 1940, in Morgan County to Guy Edgar Thompson and Lucy Beatrice Byford. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Dunaway Sr. and a grandson, Chris Hopper.

She is survived by a son, Billy J. Dunaway Jr. and wife Angie of Priceville; four daughters, Cathy Hamilton and husband Jimmy, Cheryl White and husband Larry, Lisa Graves and husband Brett and Susan Rogers, all of Priceville; a brother, Eddie Thompson of Hartselle; two sisters, Juanita Parker of Priceville and Ann Green of Memphis, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Brian Hamilton, Nicholas Guthrie, Tate Rogers, Andrew Graves, Taylor Dunaway, Michale Sorenson, Dustin Chambers, Brad Chambers, Duncan Eubanks, and Tanner Wilkinson.
