Annie Mae Murphy

A graveside service for Annie Mae Murphy, 86, of Falkville will be Sat., Nov. 16, at 1 p.m. at Cedar Creek Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Sat., Nov. 16, from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at the graveside.

Mrs. Murphy died Wed., Nov. 13, 2013 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born Jan. 30, 1927, in Cullman County to William Curtis Huffstutler and Victoria Lee Blankenship. Annie Mae spent her last 13 years at the Summerford Nursing Home being an inspiration to others. She was preceded in death by her husband, Will L. Murphy; and a daughter, Laurie McRae.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Ramey and husband Bob and Faye Murphy; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the “Lottie Moon Christmas Offering” at First Baptist Church Falkville, P.O. Box 382, Falkville, AL. 35622, in memory of Mrs. Murphy.
