Priceville High School cross country runner Tyler Johnson finished first in Class 4A sectional competition at Town Creek on Saturday and advanced to the State Cross County competition on Nov. 2. His time was 17:32.49.

Will Dotson came in 11th with a time of $18L52.07 and Ja’Quan finished 23rd in 19:29.6.

The Priceville boys came in fifth among 10 teams.

Trina Badger led Brewer girls with a fifth place finish in Class 5A . Her time was 20:56.85. She also qualified for state competition.

Kasey Badger finished 49th and Makayla Graham came n 50th.
