City landfill to close Sept. 27-28

The Hartselle city landfill will be closed Sept. 27 and 28 to perform maintenance of the scales.
According to Public Works Superintendent Byron Turney, they will be unable to weigh vehicles bringing waste to the landfill and would be forced to close for those two days. The landfill is scheduled to reopen on Mon., Sept. 30.
The landfill is located at 99 Lovelady St. NW.
