Interest in Priceville High School volleyball increases
Priceville High School will be able to field three volleyball teams this year for the first time.
The Lady Bulldogs have 26 girls comprising the varsity, junior varsity and ninth grade teams.
“We have a lot of interest in volleyball this year,” head coach Catrina Mason said. “Most schools don’t have a ninth grade team.”
The Lady Bulldogs were 25-22 last year and finished the year in Super Regionals.
“I have very high expectations for my team this year. They have showed much maturity and improved leadership abilities,” Mason said.
The Lady Bulldogs open the season Thursday against Decatur and Brooks.
