The Hartselle Board of Education will extend an offer to Limestone County chief school financial officer Jonathan Craft to take the CSFO position in Hartselle.

The school board unanimously decided to offer the job to Craft during a special called meeting Thursday after Superintendent Vic Wilson said that previous finalist Maria Glover had withdrawn her name from consideration. Glover decided to stay with Fairfield City Schools after receiving a raise.

Board president Dr. James Joy said he’s had preliminary talks with Craft and hopes that he will be able to take the job.
