Dorothy Hogan Johnson

A memorial service for Dorothy Hogan Johnson, 59, of Decatur will be announced at a later date and held by the family.

Mrs. Johnson died Mon., Aug. 5, 2013, at her residence. She was born March 10, 1954, in Morgan County to Leemon Hogan and Stella Mae Russell Hogan. She was a lifelong member of Bell Springs Baptist Church.

She was a 1972 graduate of Falkville High School and was formerly employed in the medical field as a private duty nursing assistant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Hogan and her parents.

She is survived by a son, Chris Hogan of Falkville; a daughter, April Hogan of Decatur; a brother, Wayne Hogan of Madison; a sister, Evie Morris of Falkville; and a grandchild.
