Harvel, Carter to wed July 27

Debra Harvel and Buzzy Harvel, both of Hartselle, announce the engagement of their daughter, Shelley Lee Harvel of Hartselle to John Clinton Carter of Hazel Green, son of Mrs. Janet Souder of Huntsville and Slick Carter of Hazel Geeen.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Sue Bodley of Hartselle and the late Bill Bodley and the late Jack and Mae Harvel, all of Hartselle.

She is a 2008 Hartselle High School graduate and a graduate of the University of North Alabama with a B.S. degree in early childhood and elementary education. She is a member of Alpha Gamma Delta.

The prospective groom is a 2005 graduate of Hazel Green High School and graduated from the University of North Alabama with a B..S. degree in secondary education.

The wedding will be July 27, 2013, in their new home in Town Creek.
