Thomason graduates from UNA

Randy Thomason, 2009 graduate from Danville High School, recently graduated from the University of North Alabama on May 11. He earned a bachelor degree of business administration with a concentration in professional accounting.

While at UNA, Thomason was a member of top honor societies, including Phi Kappa Phi, Delta Mu Delta, Order of Omega and Who’s Who Among American College Students.

Along with great academic success, he served as a community advisor, member of LaGrange Society, president of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, Head SOAR counselor, College of Business Ambassadors and Accounting Scholars to name a few.

During his senior year, Thomason was recognized as Homecoming King and University Man of the Year, as well as being awarded the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants Award and the Dean’s Award for the College of Business.

Thomason now works at CDPA Accounting Firm in Athens.

He plans to start graduate school at UNA in the fall and to become a certified public accountant. Thomason is the son of Evelyn Thomason and the late Tony Thomason.
