Funeral for Syble W. Anders, 77, of Hartselle will be Wed., June 19, at 1 p.m at Lebanon Baptist Church with Dr. Randall Ashley and Bro. A. Ray Lee officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Herring Cemetery.

Mrs. Anders died Mon., June 17, 2013, at her residence. She was born July 1, 1935, in Morgan County to Harlon Ward and Eva Wright Ward. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and was an AWANAS teacher. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Carl Ward; and a daughter, Tina A Long.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby D. Anders; four brothers, Joel Ward and wife Danny, David Ward and wife Kim and Tony Ward and wife Tricia, all of Hartselle and John Ward and wife Brenda of Georgia; a sister, Mary South and husband Doug of Decatur; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Gary Grantland, Don Crow, Hal Chaney, Bill Dobbs, Frank Campbell and Jeff Thompson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Valley.
