Steven Lee ‘Steve’ Franklin

Funeral for Steven Lee “Steve” Franklin, 61, of Danville will be Fri., May 31, at noon at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Todd Toles officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Fri., May 31, from 10 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.

Mr. Franklin died Wed., May 29, 2013. He was born March 16, 1952, in

Morgan County to Buddy Benjamin Franklin and Barbara Louella Franklin. He

was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide, New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, and

Green Bay Packers fan. He attended Decatur High School where he was a member of the class of 1970. He was a member of the Sixth Avenue Church of God.

He is survived by his parents, Buddy Benjamin Franklin and Barbara Louella Hardin Franklin of Danville; a brother, David Franklin and wife Tina of Danville; two nieces, Erica Faye Franklin and Barbara Nicole Franklin; and aunts, uncles, cousins and In-laws.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Mental Health Association of Morgan

County, DCI of Decatur, or the National Kidney Foundation.
