Sparkman Park Survivor Games

Mister Henry’s Restaurant is sponsoring Sparkman Park Survivor 2013 Fri., May 17, through Sat., May 18, at the football and soccer fields at the Grady and Margie Long Sports Complex.

Games will start at 7 p.m. Fri. night and continue through 8 a.m. Sat. morning. Contestants must play elimination games throughout the night, and the last person standing will win a Family of Four Season Pass to the Hartselle Aquatic Center worth $250.

An elimination game will be played each hour, sending one participant home. The games require both mental and physical skills.

The games do not require eating unusual foods or running long distances. They are meant to make participants think and react to obstacles rather than simply testing their physical endurance.

Last year, about 25 people participated in the Survivor games. Mister Henry’s and the Civic Center hope to have a similar turnout this year.

Players must be at least 18 years old to participate. Only one member per household is allowed to enter.

Call Sparkman Civic Center at 256-773-2581 for more information or to register for free.
