Two hurt in wreck on East Main Street

A two-vehicle collision on East Main Street and Shull Road resulted in injuries to the driver of one of the vehicles and a passenger in the other Thursday morning.

Both were transported to Decatur Morgan Hospital by County EMS.

The mishap, involving a wrecker owned by Sammy’s 24-hr. Towing Service and a late model Honda sedan, occurred in front of the Jet Pep service station and convenience store at 8:45 a.m. Thursday.

The car sustained heavy damage to the front door and fender of the passenger side while the truck’s right front end was damaged.

Hartselle police are investigating the accident.
