Jones semifinalist in music competition

Lauren Jones of Hartselle was named a semifinalist in the Second Year College Women’s category of student auditions for the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
Jones was among a number of University of Montevallo music students who participated in the auditions, held recently at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
She studies in the studio of Melanie Williams, professor of music at UM.
