Women’s Connection set for Friday

On Fri., April 5, Decatur Women’s Connection will have its monthly luncheon at Decatur Country Club from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for a meal and fellowship.

The entertainment feature will be Wendy Smith from Jimmy Smith Jewelry, who will speak about the history of pearls.

The inspirational speaker will be Deborah Athenoes from Knoxville, Tenn. Deborah is a mother and grandmother who enjoys reading and decorating. She is retired after serving 23 years in the U.S. Air Force and will share “A Soldier’s Story.”

There are no dues or membership costs.

Price of the meal is $15 and complimentary child care is available if requested ahead of time.
