Sixth inning rally gives Falkville win over Meek
Falkville used a four-run rally in the sixth inning to break the tie and give the Blue Devils a 10-7 win Monday afternoon.
The Blue Devils were tied with Meek through five innings when Falkville took advantage of two hits and three walks to score four runs, to take a 10-6 lead.
Adam Keenum and Hunter Woodall led the Blue Devil attack with 2-for-4 at the plate. Tanner Evans added a hit and two RBIs while Alston Howard had two runs scored.
Courtesy runner Devin Reed also tacked on two runs.
Ryan Bradford earned the win, four earned runs on six hits and two walks with three strikeouts.
Tyler Woodall had four of Falkville’s 15 stolen bases on the night.
