Drinkard inks with UAH

Tiana Drinkard has signed an athletic scholarship to the University of Alabama-Huntsville for the Track and Field program.

She is a javelin and discus thrower for Falkville High School. In the 2012 season, she won the Class 2A state championship in javelin with a throw of 117 feet, 3 inches.

She now holds the record for the longest throw at FHS in girls javelin.

Danny and Michelle Drinkard are Tiana’s parents. Nate Drinkard is her brother. Keith and Karen Wilemon are track coaches and Milan Dekich is Tiana’s throwing coach.
