McCaghren, Barber to wed

Mr. and Mrs. David McCaghren of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Audrey Lea McCaghren, to Joseph Brett Barber, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Keith Barber of Hartselle.

McCaghrenThe bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Sexton of Hartselle and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hollis McCaghren of Decatur. She is a 2007 graduate of Hartselle High School. She has a bachelor of science degree in biology from Judson College in 2010 and will receive a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Jacksonville State University.

She is currently employed as a customer service associate at Lowe’s in Hartselle.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Joe Barber of Priceville and Mrs. Mary Geraldine Jeffreys and the late Norman Jeffreys of Decatur. He is a 2008 Priceville High School graduate and a 2010 Calhoun Community College graduate, with an associate of science degree in industrial maintenance.

He is currently employed by Nucor Steel at Trinity , in the mobile maintenance department.

The wedding will be April 27 at Creekside Plantation in Mooresville.
