FHS class of 1952 enjoys breakfast meeting in Priceville

Members of Falkville High School’s Class of 1952 met at Libby’s Restaurant in Priceville on Sat., Feb. 2, for breakfast.

Among those attending were Frank and Sue Harrison, Ray and Betty Sanders, Bob and Charlotte Wise, Jack and Ina Huck, Howard and Helen Gibson, Sarah Hadley Gaines, Scotty and Betty Parker and guests. Also attending were Elaine Couch Stinson, Shirley Cooper Neal and Bill Coard.

Beauty tip: Blend lipstick with the color of your blouse, skirt, jacket or dress. Pink lipstick goes with black and white. Red lipstick goes with white and red. A woman should not wear red lipstick whenever she gets older because it will bring out the lines around the mouth and face.

Cheese Fact: Most cheese per pound are natural or process cheese.

Cleaning tip: To clean mirrors spray them with vinegar and use a paper towel to clean them.

Onion biscuits

2 cups biscuit mix

1/4 cup milk

1 container French onion dip

2 T minced green onion.

Mix all ingredients until soft dough forms. Drop dough by teaspoonful onto sprayed baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes or until light brown.

Tropical Punch

1 can pineapple juice

1 can apricot nectar

3 cans frozen orange juice

Combine pineapple juice, apricot nectar and orange juice.
