Luncheon for set for Friday

Fall in love with Women’s Connection! Who wouldn’t love meeting with other ladies, eating food, learning about women’s health and hearing an inspirational speaker?

Women’s Connection will meet for its monthly luncheon on Fri., Feb.1, at the Decatur Country Club from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Our special feature will be Susan Goldby with Decatur OB-GYN Associates. Goldby is a nurse practitioner and will speak to us on women’s health and screening.

Our inspirational speaker will be Terri Taylor Harper from Darien, Ga. She loves traveling, reading, clothes (a lady after our own heart), and fishing; particularly inshore salt water fishing on the Georgia coast where she lives.

Harper fell in love with and married a career fisherman who taught her his love for fishing. As a dental hygienist, she worked for seven years in Switzerland where she learned to speak the German language.

Harper will tell of her life of abandonment and how she kept looking for love.

Please come and be with us! There are no dues or membership costs. The price of the luncheon is $15 and complimentary childcare is available if requested ahead of time.

For reservations contact Ruby Goff at (256) 751-4045 and by email Goff804@bellsouth.net or Betty Hoffman at (256) 355-7182 and by email betty3010@att.net by Wed., Jan. 30.

Reservations should be honored, cancelled or used by a friend.
