At least two inches of snow fell in Hartselle Thursday morning, causing all kinds of traffic issues in Hartselle.

Hartselle City Schools released all students by 1 p.m. Thursday. However, more than an inch of snow had fallen by that time.

Around 2 p.m., the snowfall stopped and the sun came out and began to melt the snow away. In fact, driving conditions have improved dramatically in the last hour.

No information was available as of Tuesday afternoon if Hartselle was going to delay the start of school Friday.
