Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a traditional Christmas dinner for city employees on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

An estimated 100 people enjoyed a hot dinner consisting of roasted turkey, cornbread dressing, green beans, mashed potatoes, whole kernel corn, roll, soft drink and dessert.

Servers were Chamber directors and Ambassadors. The dining area was decked out in a holiday décor, which featured live poinsettias and two decorated Christmas trees.

The meal was sponsored by Redstone Federal Credit Union. Door prizes were donated by Apple’s, City Florist, Evans Florist, Kroger, Lowe’s of Hartselle and Walmart.

“Thanks to the generosity of our local businesses we have 128 door prizes to give away,” said Susan Hines, Chamber president. “That’s enough to ensure that everyone who comes will take home a prize.”
